Journal subscription decisions are based on the Mathematics Library budget. Journal subscription prices, especially those for print journals, increase every year, thus requiring the library to reevaluate which journal titles are fundamental to the collection. If a journal print title is being considered for cancellation, we verify if it is available electronically, and if it is, we switch format to receive the electronic version. When an electronic subscription is considered for cancellation, the decision is based on the amount of use the journal receives, the quality of the journal content, whether the library is still receiving journals with similar content, and the cost of the subscription.
