Yes, one of the Library staff is a notary public. This service is available to the public and University of Illinois affiliates at no charge, by appointment only Monday-Friday 9 am – 12 pm and 12 pm – 4 pm. Interested patrons should email in order to set up an appointment.

Student Legal Services offers notary services for current students. The Urbana Free Library offers a cheap notary public service, and most local banks also offer notary services for their customers.

A list of local notaries is maintained by the Champaign Public Library, linked from their "Notary Information" page.
