Q. Where do I find information on US tax rules and regulations?

Illinois users have 3 databases to choose from:

• Bloomberg Law: Tax (formerly known as BNA, for on-campus users only): Search for "Tax Rules" or "Regulations". Within the Federal tab, see Cases and Court Rules

Researchers not affiliated with the University of Illinois can search the U.S. Tax Code On-Line.

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) website can also be searched for documents such as Tax Code, Regulations and Official Guidance and Audit Techniques Guides (ATGs).
