  • If you are a current student; staff; or faculty member on the Urbana campus; your NetID and password are all you need for remote access to library resources.

If you click on a link that requires access via the proxy server; you will be prompted for your NetID and password. Once that's verified; you'll get a link to begin using the database through the proxy server. Your connection will stay authorized until you either close your web browser or don't communicate with the proxy server for one hour.

If you don't know your NetID or password; see Technology Services' "General Services" page; and click the NetID Claim and the NetID Password Claim links.

Some database may be available for in-building use only.

  • Non-Urbana campus users may access the online catalog by clicking the library catalog or one of the first two classic catalog links.
