Go to the following databases:

 - Most Complete Online Records (with the exception of a company website):

  • EDGAR Company Search (Scope: (1) US public companies filings became mandatory in 1996 (2) Foreign company filings became mandatory in 2002.)
  • Nexis Uni: Go into advanced search, click 'select a specific content type' and then 'SEC filings' under the 'Company and Financials' heading

 - Other

 - Older Records

  • Look up on Company Annual Reports on microfilm in the library catalog. Soon these microfilm will be searchable by company name. Some of the reports date back to the 19th century.
